Why am I like this?

This question comes in mind quite often.

How do we try to address it?

with the help of first Name? By Family name? By all ascribe traits? or by achieved traits?

Yes, all these may help us to locate ourselves in society, community, profession etc.

But sometimes with all descriptions I am not satisfied. Specially when I wish to get some answers to why I behave like this or  why I think like that or why I could not answer or react the way I wanted to.....etc.

Then how will I help myself to get the answer?

It is not easy but also not impossible.

I need to become aware of all the behaviours which I do.

We have major four processes whereby I can understand the behaviour I do.

1. Perception: How do I perceive the happening around me? Why do I perceive like it?
                       (How do I see and give meaning to it on the basis of my previous experiences?)

2. Feeling:  How do I feel in different happenings? why?
                    (How do I interpret and link to my emotions? )

3. Thinking: How do I understand it? Am I able to give do it rationally, logically or it is more                                  emotional drivan? 
                    (What is my pattern of thinking?)

4. Acting: What do I do in such circumstances? Why?
                 (Do I respond or react in situation or given circumstances)

Probably  try to focus on these processes, you will be able to get answer to Why am I like this?

    I think most of the people face problems at 4th point. Keep sending a good work of counseling.

      The fourth point is to see very closely how do you behave/act in given circumstances.kindly introspect to your actions.
      for example: when you are not happy and someone reminds you for your own commitment, how do you act? do you respond or react?
      let us take the same situation and in that case you are happy and you are reminded...will both actions are same? if yes, how? and if No, why? how they are different?
      Kindly observe/look closely to your action to self and others in different circumstances and try to understand....When you are ready once again we can discuss them in detail to understand this step.

Gardener: The Nurturer I always receive complaints from parents and teachers that their children do not listen to them, they argue, at times that they are rebel, they do not respect, etc…. sometimes they express anxiety what will they become, if they do not listen to us what will be their future, will they be able to manage themselves? ….and so on.
